Supplemental Information
St. Theodore Academy’s financial aid program is based on the principle that families contribute to their child’s education to the extent that they are able. We assume that each parent in a family will work unless there are elementary school-age children in the household. Parents who are not working should be prepared to provide an explanation, as St. Theodore Academy may consider an assigned income for a non-working parent when assessing financial need.
Please note:
Families who anticipate needing financial aid at any point during their child’s time at St. Theodore Academy must apply for aid at the time of admission.
The Academy evaluates the financial resources of both legal parents, if living, when determining aid eligibility. St. Theodore Academy does not consider one parent’s decision to disclaim financial responsibility as binding. If a legal parent remarries, the financial obligations of the new family are taken into account, including the responsibilities of a step-parent.
In cases of divorce or separation, each household must submit a separate financial aid application. Contact information for both parents should be included in the application.
We understand that each family’s financial situation is unique. If you have any questions, we are here to assist you. Please contact the Office of Financial Aid at:
